Selection Process
Unlike Other exams, there is only 1 Exam for selection for the SSC MTS Post. If you are opting for the Havaldar Post, you may have to go through the PET or PST Test after qualifying for the written Examination.
- Stage 1 - Written Examination (Computer Based CBT)
- Stage 2 - PET Or PST (Only For Havaldar Post)
Syllabus
The syllabus and Exam Pattern for the Examination has been revised in the last few years and the Exam is now being taken in 2 Phases. The first Phase is Qualifying in nature, while the Second Phase is Ranking deciding Examination. Jumping to the syllabus now. The questions will be asked on the Class 10 CBSE Pattern. There will be questions from Reasoning, Math, General Awareness and English.

Salary
The Salary of the Job depends upon the City and location, The in-hand Salary is around 20245 for Tier I Cities, 18355 for Tier 2 cities and 16915 for Tier 3 Cities. Employees get promotions after every 3rd Year.
